Notables of the Docks. - Jacob and Gangplannk will likely know many of these people.
-Scion Lord Goodman Hugen: Leader of House Candren, a powerful shipping family, in Absalom. He is a member of the Grand Council of the whole city, First Harbormaster, and the proprietor of the Sea King Shipyard. He's rarely seen in the docks, as most of the day to day running is conducted by his wife. Despite his lack of physical presence, his importance is well known - as he is the Dock's official representation in the city Council.
-Goodmiss Alidane of House Candren: Manager of the Sea King Shipyard. A member of the Docks Council and a patriotic Andoran, in a heated rivalry with Archych of House Dureanz, often using shiphands as soldiers against him. She's a tall lanky human woman in her thirties with knitted brown hair and bronzed skin.
-Lord Archych of House Dureanz: Owner of the Devil's Own shipyard, a loyal Chelaxian he employs the worst thugs and pushes around his considerable weight at every opportunity. His ongoing rivalry with Goodmiss Alidane is responsible for most of the large scale violence that occurs in the district. A pale emaciated human man with a single cut of blond hair down the center of his head and a thin beard.
-Ptarnex Dexarion: The Second Harbormaster of Absalom and owner of the Ogrekin transporting business in the Docks district. He is also the owner of the Red Drake Warehouses. A stout middle aged human male with a penchant for whoring - beloved by the teamsters of the Docks for helping them 'unionize'.
-Dorem "Gills" Anticawe: The owner and proprietor of The Grog Pit, this surprisingly vitriolic halfling has his hand in many pies - criminal and otherwise - but is tolerated by the guard for his capacity to keep some of the worst cutthroats in check. Old for a halfling and completely bald, his monicker comes for the dreadful scars that line his neck from a failed necktie.
-Madame Gardener: The effusively polite dwarf woman that runs the streetwalkers and illegal prostitutes of the docks - she operates out of the "Seed Bed". A recent addition to dock politics, she orchestrated an elaborate takeover of the many small illegal brothels that operated in the district by encouraging the girls to remove the pimps when they were most... vulnerable. She put former prostitutes in charge of all the brothels and generally cleaned up the standards - pissing off many established crime lords and dockworkers who suddenly have to pay a little more for their pleasure.
-Guaril Karela: A human male with a bit of fetchling blood, he runs the pickled imp - a magical item and curio shop on the docks. A lot of rumors circulate around the man with his piercing green eyes and handlebar mustache/goatee combo and many note that he is treated far too well for his supposed station by the various criminals that operate in the docks.
-Adrielle Neprathep of House Fyrlenn: An unofficial Baroness of the Docks, Adrielle is THE BEAST'S chief engineer and operator - THE BEAST being the largest crane in the world. An Oread woman with a fiery temperament for her kind, she possesses a deep green hue and is known to employ her immensely strong crew for uses beyond the operation of THE BEAST.
-Captain Gurillip Norden: The broad shouldered and barrel chested human male that leads the Harbor Guard. He spends little time in his office, preferring to deal personally with the various warehouses, shipyards, and shipping companies that operate in the docks. While there is no evidence that is particularly corrupt, it is well known that he cares little for the common folk of the dock - focusing his efforts towards supporting the trade and business interests that keep the city alive.
-"Fisher" Ollen: The half-orc second in command of the Harbor Guard. A truly nasty woman with a penchant for violence, she deals with the criminals of the docks regularly. She's tolerated as a necessary evil by most - as many consider it easier and more cost efficient to work with the criminals than it is to try and fight them. She stands over seven feet and has tastefully removed the sleeves from her uniform to show off THE GUNS.
-Tillrik Brane: A strange, older, half-elf with a bookish demeanor and gnarled hands who has managed to find a truly ingenious method of funding a charity in the docks. One of the few that ended up working. He runs the only working orphanage in the docks, which he has built conveniently on the top of "The Crooked Hook" tavern - which he also runs. The orphans he keeps 'pay their rent' by helping operate the tavern - making food, serving customers, or just keeping it clean and running for supplies. A competent wizard and teacher - Tillrik also provides his orphans one of the better educations available in the docks.
-Chula Plinket: An ever-grinning gnome woman who runs "The Paper Warehouse"; dedicated to the receiving and shippings of books, scrolls and minor magical items. Enterprising beyond most, she also runs it as a library - allowing visitors to peruse the current collection of texts that have not yet been shipped off to find their destined homes. She happily takes 'donations' for this charitable effort.
-Phelan Franc: Childhood friend of Jacob Tahlbert. Recognizable for his terrible burns scars and vitriolic nature. Racist even by Golarion standards he's otherwise accepted in the Docks for being one of the less corrupt guards of the Docks - much like Tahlbert.

Notables of the Foreign Quarter.- Ganfen of House Kethlin: The Irorium's current Master of Blades and representative of this district in the City Council, the human male Ganfen is an ex-gladiator and a shrewd businessman who has the support of most active gladiators due to his largesse and the mercantile policies that have allowed for greater profit per performance for the gladiators. His brutality towards slaves and his harsh rules for gambling and spectators leaves him unloved outside the arena. A red haired and sallow skinned man with plenty of scares, a heavy belly and a good many muscles left to display despite his long retirement. - Torlel Iates: The female Elf Torlel had a fascinating and wildly successful career as a gladiator, starting as a slave and being one of the few of her number to survive long enough, and perform well enough, to earn their freedom. Torlel would later re-enter the arena, a rare thing for her circumstances. But her career did not end there as she would, miraculously, claim the title of the Irorium's Champion for nearly two decades. After retiring, still not even middle aged by elven standards, she'd take ownership of the Crimson Coin, claim membership on the district council, and is currently the single most sought after trainer for gladiators in the world. Tall, dark olive skin, possessing incredible poise and presence and nearly all muscle - she's difficult not to notice. - Daigore Voon: The current champion of the Irorium is a truly hulking Gnoll male and claims the dubious honor of being beloved by the spectators and despised by his fellow gladiators due to his terrible savagery and the derisiveness with which he views his peers. Daigore claimed his championship position by performing the nearly-illegal maneuver of striking at the former champion, who had been handily trouncing him, after feigning surrender - landing a brutal strike to the Champion's back, killing them, before the match's end had been officiated. Despite this dishonorable entry into the Champion position the gorey scenes he orchestrates in the arena reclaimed the people's favor very quickly. 8'1, 340 pounds, mangey black fur, and blood red eyes - one does not trifle with "The Bloody Barghest" of the arena. -Ambrus Valsin: This human male is the face of the Pathfinder Society in Abslaom, running the day to day functions of the Grand Lodge at the behest of the shadowy and secretive Decemverite. Impatient and Meticulous, Ambrus is an experienced adventurer and a relentless administrator. Ambrus makes a point to supervise all important duties within the Grand Lodge, and keeps a long list of relatively safe but time-consuming jobs on file, ready to hand out to rookie Pathfinders and modest hopefuls to keep them busy and out of the way of more experienced agents. Tall and meticulously groomed ( so hot), Ambrus doesn't appreciate backtalk and reserves particularly strenuous assignments for those who annoy him. -Bexilarius "Avarice" Varandin: A tiefling alchemist living in the Foreign Quarter of Absalom. He has become infamous for his pyromania, volatile potions, and second-to-none explosive devices. He's regularly utilized by the city's engineers, adventurers, soldiers, and troublemakers alike for his incredible pyrotechnics and - frankly sociopathic - disregard for the collateral damage and numbers of dead innocents his creations cause. Most wonder why he hasn't been arrested or killed in an act of vengeance yet. Perhaps its just due to the convenience of knowing where the source of most of the city's explosive deaths can be traced to, or maybe because he's too crazy to blame for his lack of customer screening, but the most likely answer is that you don't mess with the world's premier explosives expert. Short, dark red, pale eyes and nothing left but ash for hair. -Phithim(High Scholastic title, like 'Professor') Sabethys Xis Afir: One of the Inner Sea's premier linguists, and a living archive of Osirion's ancient Pharaonic history. Famous as one of the few people in the world who have managed to learn the long dead hieroglyphic language of Ancient Osiriani, among many other dead tongues she does not share her knowledge of as freely. She is the premier member and de facto head of the Chapel of Tongues - respected for her patient and considerate personality, but known to request odd favors in exchange for her services. An older woman, she has long black hair traced with grey and the gracefully curved facial features possess by the Pharaonic blooded among the Osirion nobles. -Sir Koner Norbrook: Most of the private housing in the foreign quarter is not available for purchase, but for rent, and most of that housing is owned by Sir Koner Norbrook. The youngest son of a minor noble family in Taldor, this blond haired human male - square jawed and handsome by most counts - cuts a stunning figure in his masterfully tailored, but usually quite tastefully decorated, adornments. Rarely without servants at his sides, despite the fact that he inherited no properties from his family due to being the 7th and final child of his family he quickly became the wealthiest of his entire line due to his keen mind for property investment as well as his infamously devilish charm. -Dizithlin Nesthizerthimp: A name only a gnome could have, 'Diz' - as the sane refer to them - is nearly as much a part the Foreign Quarter as the Irorium to most locals. It's difficult to characterize or even classify their role in the day to day runnings of the Foreign Quarter, but few would argue their impact. For prices they seems to make up entirely on the spot, Diz and their little crew of fellow gnomes will provide nearly any reasonable service to anyone - they'll find you a house, a job, a friend, or a quiet place to drink. They'll talk if you want to talk, or try to help you find information you're looking for. Most just consider Diz the 'universal guide' or 'professional friend' of the Foreign Quarter, and those people wouldn't be wrong. Purple and blue hair, with large purple eyes - Lithe by even gnomish standards and possessed of a number of strange movement affectations. -Dormur Thrumead: All beard, bustle, bravado and classlessness this ardent dwarven worshiper of Cayden Cailean came to his - usually human - deity through nearly unmatched love of booze and misadventure. Built by the gods to resemble the barrels he looks after - his rich brown beard (which fails to conceal his beer gut and winsome smile) is usually wrapped around his waist like a belt. The current patriarch of a proud Dwarven brewing clan he has brought his own family to the premier of the many brewing groups of Absalom with his innovations on classic dwarven alcohol recipes, fighting constantly to retain this primacy amongst his many peers. His family's rivalry with their two closest competitors - the Othenbrew and the Aldmark clan - is legendary and some fear Dormur's oldest son will not be fit to inherit his family's legacy and keep the Thrumead family on top of the ALEWARS.
